Hi Roseann, we have not heard of it but there coud be someone in the pellie club who has. The other alternative of course is to experiment with one plant and see what happens. Please let us know of the result if you do. Cheers Karen

Does anyone know anything about the effects of coffee grounds on plants, or more specifically, on geraniums/pelargoniums? My husband has a theory that pouring old black coffee or sprinkling the used coffee grounds onto the soil in the pots will help them grow but I have banned him from doing it as I am afraid it might do the opposite. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Hi Karen,

However our Geranium and Pelargonium Society is alive and well, with lots of plants available at meetings and our sale later in the year.if you wish , I am happy to have enquiries to the enclosed email address if anyone from W.A. wants info.
